Community guidelines

A calm, respectful place to learn

These guidelines keep Sunova Sensa safe for everyone — including the quiet members who never post. They apply to messages, feedback, shared progress and anything else written inside the app.

Our promise

Sunova Sensa exists so that learning feels safe for every brain. That only works if the space stays calm, respectful and predictable — for learners, parents, caregivers and educators alike.

Assume good intent, then check

Everyone here is trying to help a learner they love. Ask a question before correcting someone. If something lands badly, say so plainly and kindly rather than escalating.

Respect sensory limits

No pressure to participate at a certain pace. No shaming for needing repetition, breaks, silence or a different format. What looks like avoidance is often regulation.

Use language that lifts

Describe behaviour, not character. "This page is tricky" instead of "you're not trying". Labels like lazy, difficult or broken have no place here — not about children, and not about adults either.

Privacy is a kindness

Share your own child's progress only as much as you're comfortable with. Ask before sharing anyone else's story, name, diagnostic information or screenshots of their data.

Children and caregivers together

A parent may manage a learner's profile. That trust does not extend to speaking for an adult family member. Teen and adult profiles keep their own voice and their own settings.

No selling, no recruiting

Community space is for support, not for promoting clinics, tutoring businesses, supplements or courses. Recommend what genuinely helped your family only when someone has asked.

What we don't allow

Harassment, threats, discriminatory language, medical or diagnostic claims presented as fact, sharing another person's private information, and any contact that targets a minor. These lead to removal, without a long conversation.

Reporting and response

If something feels off, use the feedback form and choose the accessibility category. We read every report, we keep it confidential, and we respond gently. We will not disclose who reported unless you give permission.

When guidelines are broken

First, a private note to understand what happened. If harm continues, we remove the content or the access. We aim for repair over punishment, but safety always comes first.

Something here feel unclear, or not quite right for your family? Tell us — guidelines should be living things.
